Thanks for visiting the Australian website of the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA) - the worldwide leaders in natural bodybuilding, figure, modeling, physique and fitness events. Our organisation is known as the Mecca of Naturals consisting of 40 Countries and growing, with tens of thousands of Members around the world. In becoming an Australian INBA Member, you are helping the INBA to develop and advance your sport. You may be assured the INBA is a professional organisation here to Protect and Serve the drug-free athlete. The INBA holds a respected association with the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA). Since our foundation 20 years ago, ASADA have acted as our Drug Testing Body. The latest ASADA Drug Test findings published show INBA is the most successful drug detection sporting body in Australia. During the 2008-09 financial year ASADA conducted 7,498 tests over 100 sports resulting in 29 drug test violations been registered in Australia. Of those 29 positive tests involving 12 sports, INBA finished at the top of the sporting table detecting 10 positives (35%) from our testing. Astounding if you consider that INBA competitors accounted for just 1% of the testing pool. INBA has used ASADA as our drug testing body since 1991 and has continuously caught and banned cheats (for LIFE in most cases) every year, yet cheats still consider the risk is worth an INBA Title. If testing and banning competitors is not enough deterrent, then the punishment must be so painful as to make the risk unjustifiable. In 2010, INBA will apply life-lasting repercussions against competitors who wish to vilify our natural platform. INBA will launch a Hall of Shame webpage which will highlight competitors who fail our drug testing in 2010 and beyond. This will keep their disgrace alive and available for anyone searching their name on the web, no longer with ‘time hide the crime’. INBA Competitors - Pure Champions. INBA has divisions and events for all drug-free competitors – including the physically challenged. For elite competitors you have the opportunity to receive a Pro Card and compete with our professional body, the PNBA. INBA also created and promotes female exclusive shows – All Female Muscle & Fitness Championships – both in Melbourne and America. Not forgetting that females can represent Australia in the IFSB Ms Fitness World each August in the USA.
